Well that was fun! Big thanks to everyone who came by our booth at the Queen West Art Crawl last weekend, and props to the organizers at PLEDC for a great show. The weather was lovely, the vibe was relaxed and lots of nice folks liked our work!
We were especially happy with the response to our "Glamourizing Crime" series of art plaques. By the end of Saturday, 12 of 14 had been sold, and Paul Reubens found a home Sunday afternoon. Poor Zsa Zsa was the last one standing, so we brought her home with us.
We really enjoyed making these, so there will be more. Ange is already collecting images of other infamous mugs. But no wife-beaters or serial killers (or Rob Ford - ew)! It can be a fine line, but there's a carefully selected range of badass-ness that gets our glitter and crystal treatment.
And now some news: Studio Sale next weekend! We're passing on the Clothing Show this season, and would rather invite you to our cute little studio for some great bargains and early-bird discounts on custom orders.
Friday Oct. 1, 2-7pm
Saturday Oct. 2, 11am-6pm
BBJ studio can be found at 401 Logan Ave., unit 102 (at the base of the Woods tower)
